Alabama State University has a new Master of Social Work (MSW) degree program, approved recently by the Alabama Commission on Higher Education (ACHE), set to begin Fall 2015. Students admitted will have a choice of pursuing the degree via three different options, which includes:
traditional (two-year, full time);
advanced-standing (12 months);
and part-time (four-year).
The program will prepare students for advanced social work training/academic leadership in the areas of Forensics, Gerontology, Behavioral and Mental Health.
