The present title of Master in Intervention and Family, Social and Community Mediation responds to the need to continue counting on a space of interdisciplinary academic formation of the future professionals in the promotion of the human development throughout the life and in their familiar surroundings, social and community levels through intervention and mediation strategies. This training is also a demanded demand from public and private institutions, which must give an adequate response to the changes that the family is experiencing in today's society, such as the emergence of new forms of family, the need to reconcile family life and work, greater sensitivity to situations of child abuse and neglect, and gender violence and the support needs of immigrant families, among others. Also, these professionals must respond to the crisis of contemporary societies that manifest themselves in many ways.
