Master Programs in Social Sciences
Courses in the social sciences prepare students to engage within human society. Through courses such as economics, political science, anthropology, sociology, history, and psychology, students may gain a better understanding of how the world around them works.
Uganda hosts the oldest university in the East and Central Africa, which is Makerere University. This university has been the center of academic excellence for several decades for not only Ugandans students but also other students in the region. Uganda has over 30 public universities.
A masters is earned after students complete an undergraduate degree program. To obtain a masters, you usually need to complete 12 to 18 college courses that often involve completing comprehensive tests and/or a thesis.
