The Secondary specialisation can be completed in 18 months in an accelerated mode. The Secondary specialisation is taught at Mawson Lakes campus. Applicants require a three-year degree from a recognised tertiary institution and two learning areas in their undergraduate degree from the following learning areas: Arts (Dance, Drama, Music, Media Arts or Visual Arts), English, Mathematics, Health and Physical Education, Humanities and Social Sciences (History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship or Economics and Business), Languages, Design and Technology and Science. The specialisation prepares graduates to teach in two learning areas for Years Eight to Twelve.
