The Master Program in Manufacturing Engineering allows graduates to gain a deep knowledge in current and new manufacturing technologies, such as continuous manufacturing processes, regulatory issues affecting manufacturing, quality risk management, Lean Six Sigma, decision making tools, as well as a thorough knowledge in key aspects regarding the operation and management of a high tech industry. Such knowledge will prepare them to assume relevant positions within manufacturing, research or service companies either in Puerto Rico, the U.S. or abroad.

The master's degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology integrates the study of the components of the justice system, the analysis of deviant behavior, and the application of research methodology to gain a better comprehension of the necessary strategies needed to prevent and manage criminal conduct.

All of our programs are duly licensed by the Puerto Rico Board of Education (CEPR) and accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). At the undergraduate level (teacher preparation programs), we have the specialized accreditation granted by The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

It prepares the student to identify, evaluate and manage toxicological or occupational risks in humans and in the ecosystem. Analyze hypothetical situations of contaminant dispersion; the routes of exposure in humans and chemical interaction with the environment.

This specialty includes the training of professionals capable of offering productive alternatives in the integral management of wildlife, with special attention to the protection and conservation of the habitat of the species. The courses of this specialty have an interdisciplinary approach in the analysis of the interaction and interdependence of the ecological, socio-economic, cultural and technological components in the management and conservation of tropical ecosystems.

This program has emphasis on the management, conservation of ecosystems, wildlife and biodiversity; It consists of a total of 35 credits of which 17 are dedicated to core courses on basic aspects of environmental issues such as water, air, soil, legislation and experimental design; 12 credits include elective and specialization courses, and 6 credits are destined to boarding school (3), or group project under the supervision of a teacher (3) and / or the environmental assessment course (3).

The program offers a combination of technology with management subjects so graduates can contribute to the economic development of their societies. The curriculum will endow students with knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for employment in the management of technical settings and/or admission into graduate schools to pursue advanced degrees in Engineering Management or related fields.

This program may have an emphasis on chemical or biological analysis; It consists of a total of 35 credits, of which 17 are core courses on basic aspects of environmental issues such as water, air, soil, legislation and experimental design; 12 credits are for elective and specialization courses, and 6 credits are for the thesis.

The program provides students with an in-depth knowledge of the principles of a Converged Networks including design, implementation, security, and management with a strong hands-on approach.

The Master in Education program specializing in Teaching English as a Second Language is intended to prepare a professional with theoretical and practical knowledge that will allow you to improve the quality of teaching and learning English.

The Master in Communications specializing in Public Relations prepares comprehensive public relations, capable of building and maintaining relationships between organizations and their public; with the knowledge about the new digital platforms that exist in the field of Communications. It offers students knowledge about new trends in the field of public relations, focused on a globalized and changing world. Curriculum design focuses theory and practice.

Graduates of this specialty may administer, design, plan and evaluate service programs related to the personal and social development of individuals, families and communities to improve the quality of life of society. In addition, they will develop leadership skills that will allow them to organize the communities and thus become agents of social change. They may participate effectively and efficiently in public policy formulation processes. They will know strategies for fundraising, preparation and administration of proposals for the operationalization of programmatic objectives and goals.
