The Master of Furniture Design is open to candidates who have already achieved a degree in furniture or similar design. The one year course provides students with great knowledge of Italian Furniture Design. Through field trips, lectures held by world famous furniture designers, and informative history classes. [+]

The students of the Master in Diseño Sostenible de Producto study in depth the complexity and diversity of contemporary creative product design, which is based on analysing the demands of project management and incorporating new social values, such as sustainability. [+]

The objective of the Master in Jewellery Design is to form professionals who will be able to enter and succeed in the complex world of jewellery, a sector evolving over the past two decades which has been subject to important transformations and that, as such, requires a thorough understanding of all its aspects. The jewel designer must be able to operate in different areas of the jewellery (watches, fine jewellery, precious stones, fashion accessories, metals ...) with an open mind for creative aspects, as well as those operative (from centenary techniques to more sophisticated tools such as three-dimensional modeling). The Master also offers a broad and strategic vision on trends and market developments, in order to interpret and give an original character to collections, in line with future scenarios. [+]

The Master in Product Design program combines the study of theory with the process of direct experience. Besides honing the “problem solving” skills that every designer needs, you will also develop a “problem defining” approach: the ability to determine the true parameters of each design challenge. As you learn to follow your intuition and promote your aesthetic vision within those parameters, you will cultivate more awareness of the reasons behind your own design choices, and those of others. The MA in Interaction Design programme focuses on human-centered design. The ongoing evolution of smart consumer technology has increased the need for well-designed intuitive user interfaces and experiences. [+]

Furniture is an integral part of human habitat. Depending on the type of living environment, furniture could be the result of a bespoke design or it may be an object that is mass produced. The M. Design – Furniture Design program is a pragmatic response to the growing needs of the furniture industry and of the retail market to-day. The exponential rate of growth across all metro cities is leading to a huge demand for high quality affordable furniture in all sectors. Currently, a large percentage of furniture supplied to the market comes from abroad and could as easily be designed and made in India. [+]

The Master in Transportation Design offered by the Istituto Europeo di Design sets itself up as an incubator for tomorrow's professionals and, thanks to an ongoing relationship with Companies closely involved in this sector, it intends to contribute to the creation of very sought after and highly specialised professionals. Over the course of two years on a full-time basis, the Master expects to hone and develop the student's competence in terms of his/her critical approach, analytical and methodological skills, providing the tools to start creating his/her own innovative concepts; in other words the aim is to train these professionals who will have the sensibility, courage and competence to imagine and design the vehicles of tomorrow.
