In order to successfully obtain a Masters qualification, you will need to obtain a number of credits by passing individual modules. Most taught Masters will have a number of core modules which you must take and pass in order to obtain the qualification. The assessment of research Masters is almost always entirely by a single dissertation module or project.
Product design programs sometimes allow for optional areas of expertise that students can use to narrow their focus. Many institutions offer urban design and home design specializations. Additionally, programs can help students form industry connections and internships that can lead to job positions after completion.

The output of the problem-solving approach could either be a product, a service, a system, or space. HCD is increasingly being used to solve complex problems through the design of digital products, services, and systems. Digital technology is becoming the core of most, if not all, aspects of human experiences.
