    Master Programs in Pre-Nursing

Pre-nursing students may choose to focus in one area of study and can take additional courses in their specialty. Areas of nursing specialization may include pediatric nursing, ambulatory care, cardiac nursing, burn care and geriatric nursing among others.

A masters is earned after students complete an undergraduate degree program. To obtain a masters, you usually need to complete 12 to 18 college courses that often involve completing comprehensive tests and/or a thesis.
