You may be wondering, what is a Master in Plant Sciences? This program teaches students about crop production and developing sustainable systems for the production of renewable resources, pharmaceuticals, and food. Students will learn the principles of plant breeding, plant pathology, and agro-ecology, and how to integrate these to provide healthy specimens for food and non-food applications. Students can choose to specialize in areas such as crop science, greenhouse horticulture, natural resource management, plant breeding and genetic resources, and plant entomology and pathology.
