A program in physical disabilities can teach students how to help, interact with and support individuals with disabilities. This course can provide students with the knowledge needed for careers in special education, psychology, physical therapy and occupational therapy.

Higher education in Colombia is done in the five common international languages namely English, French, Spanish Portuguese and Chinese. This has eliminated the issue of language barriers in these higher education institutions among other international students.

The conceptual integration of the processes of science such as philosophy, demography, ethics, medical science, statistics, political science, science, arts and letters, psychology, anthropology, and sociology to understand the situation of disability in a frame biopsychosocial and multidimensional. The design of plans, programmes, projects, and actions of intervention in disability with a framework of equality of opportunity, to participate in processes of interdisciplinary, from the perspective of human functioning in the population with disabilities. Participate in the formulation and development of scientific research projects related to disability, based on the production of scientific knowledge in the field of disability and human performance, facilitate the transformation of the particular context and group of the person in the situation of disability. The Master's degree in disability is aimed at practitioners in the areas of health (Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Speech therapy, Occupational therapy, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy) in Social Sciences (Psychology, Social Work, Family Development, Education, Architecture, and Industrial Design, and in general, professionals related to the disability. -
