Photography

Photography is a fascinating form of art that emerged from a fruitful union of science and ancient traditions of visual arts. The act of photography creates still pictures that capture reality as seen through the lens of the camera. A Master in Photography explores the art in it’s many functions and forms, from fine art photography with purely aesthetic functions to catch the beauty of nature or creation unguarded and in full ripe, to merely pragmatic forms of forensic or science photography that aim to capture the facts and reality not tempered with. Whatever your photographic focus may be, a Master n Photography can be an excellent choice for you.

There are many different photography processes: black-and-white, color, infrared and ultraviolet, and digital photography. Each of them marks a different scientific age that comes up with inventions, relevant for art, and a Master in Photography can help you explore each one. Photography also plays its role in capturing historical and social contexts, since the photographers, as objective as they may seem, decide from what angle to take the photo and what element to include into the frame, thus influencing an allegedly objective picture.

Are you fascinated by the field of photography and art, interested in creating aesthetic objects or practical evidence? Once you positively answer this question, don’t hesitate to check out the possible Master in Photography programs below. Take the next step toward your Master in Photography, today!

Learn photography to build a story, to travel to your interior, to share with your fellow travelers an authentic adventure: tell stories sensitive to light. [+]

Learn photography to build a story, to travel to your interior, to share with your fellow travelers an authentic adventure: tell stories sensitive to light. CURRICULUM Creativity Creativity is inherent in the human condition. In it lies the evolution that has undergone humanity since its inception and marks its future. There are different ways of defining creativity, but they all revolve around the generation of original and innovative ideas as a fundamental part of the creative process. Contents Creative process (Logbook) An important tool in the creative process is the logbook. Making an analogy with the logbook, the photographer notes or sticks in a notebook, all those events, ideas, concepts, clippings, situations, etc. In short, everything that catches your attention and is the object of your interest. The logbook becomes a method within the creative process, which can serve the photographer to generate original ideas, on which will work. You will also see other strategies and techniques, with which you want to give the photographer the way to get ideas that are valid in the process of photographic creation. Creation of speech in photography In photography photography is increasingly being established as author, one that defines a style of his own based on a story or speech that relates the photographer to his work. The author is identified by making use of a specific technique, or to portray a subject that becomes common in most of his works or by the composition or format he uses on a recurring basis.... [-]

The main purpose of the Master’s Module is to develop a new generation of professionals who are able to imagine, design, build and spread their vision with all the necessary tools to deal with the fluidity of the market. [+]

Masters in Photography. Despite it’s relatively recent discovery, photography has gone through different evolutions changing itself and the world around it. On one side, it has helped us to better understand the many manifestations of reality. On the other side, photography has unhinged our certainties to reveal a metaphysical inner world. With the advent of digital photography, the photographer’s work- from pioneering alchemy in its infancy, to advanced computing today – has undergone a process of democratization that has broadened the basic skill base and raised the level of expectation at the top. To be an exceptional professional photographer today not only requires having technical expertise at shooting and printing but also a broader awareness of the entire creative and production processes. Familiarity with all technological aspects (shooting, editing, post production, presentation, distribution), the different areas and related parties involved are not enough to meet the market’s needs. Creativity and content design are the difference between the role of a person who merely does the work and of a potential creative director. A holistic approach is therefore essential to establish oneself as a leading professional in the industry. CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES The main purpose of the Master’s Module is to develop a new generation of professionals who are able to imagine, design, build and spread their vision with all the necessary tools to deal with the fluidity of the market. More experienced photographers are hired not only as technical experts, but as real creative directors. In this light, it is... [-]
