Master Programs in Peace and Conflict Studies
Even though conflict has always been a part of history, peace and conflict studies aim to reduce conflict in the future by studying ways to avoid it. This is done by studying causes of violent conflict, then explaining to others how conflict begins and how to manage or avoid it.
Kenya is regarded as one of the countries in Africa with their top university being the University of Nairobi. Last year, the Kenyan government, upgraded 15 institutions to fully university status in a bid to increase the student’s accessibility to these universities.
A masters is earned after students complete an undergraduate degree program. To obtain a masters, you usually need to complete 12 to 18 college courses that often involve completing comprehensive tests and/or a thesis.
