The programme is addressed to holders of 1st degree diploma in the field of Navigation (or equivalent diplomas). 2-year part-time programme is conducted in two sessions, each lasting approximately 11 weeks (March – May). Such structure gives the students the flexibility of continuing their work at sea whilst pursuing their studies. Navigation provides you with a thorough knowledge in the scope of nautics and other inter-related fields of science allowing flexibility in your future career choices. Graduates can work as deck officers on maritime and inland waterway vessels, in enterprises connected with international navigation. They can be employed by highly specialized merchant service or navy, fishing fleet, on passenger vessels, offshore patrol vessels protecting oil fields, in oil and production platforms, on modern specialist hydrographic and research vessels. They can also join land maintenance and technical services, marine administration units, classification institutions and SAR service. This programme is available only on tuition fee-basis. Students who are eligible to study under the regime applicable to Polish nationals are obliged to pay PLN 6,800 / year and those who are not – EUR 2,200 / year.... [-]
