A masters is the first level of graduate coursework and can be obtained after you receive a bachelor’s degree. Earning a masters usually requires two years of full-time study, which amounts to 36 to 54 semester credits.
The natural sciences deal with the understanding of natural phenomena through observations and predictions. The scientific method and the laws of nature may be covered. Natural science branches include areas such as physics and biology, and there are many more.
South America It is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean and on the north and east by the Atlantic Ocean; North America and the Caribbean Sea lie to the northwest. It includes twelve sovereign states Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador,Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela – and two non-sovereign areas – French Guiana, an overseas territory of France, and the Falkland Islands, a British Overseas Territory. In addition to this, Trinidad and Tobago and theABC islands of the Netherlands may also be considered part of South America.

Master of Environmental Management and Assessment
The Master is open to professionals from various disciplines, executives and leaders with experience in environmental issues related to private enterprise and governmental and nongovernmental organizations, which face management challenges and environmental assessment. Also, is aimed at teachers from higher education institutions interested in deepening their knowledge in applied research in environmental management. Applicants must be creative people and researchers, with provision for teamwork and openness, enabling the optimal exercise on learning processes based on participatory methodologies and active learning.Justification For Sergio Arboleda University is of a fundamental nature contribute to the solution of global environmental problems, through the creation of a graduate academic program, consistent with the policies of environmental protection and culture derive from its mission. With this new proposal are assumed academic institutional commitments to advance environmental research and knowledge give society and experts to provide competently the purpose of achieving the natural balance of the planet and improving environmental quality, within a framework of equity and social justice. If it is agreed that the management and basic management theories and environmental sciences in the service of environmental protection, are tools that can lead to solving many of the environmental problems, what better than institutions of higher education to to. In this vein, Sergio Arboleda University, intends to continue becoming a space that will analyze, understand and propose solutions from academia to environmental issues from the perspective of management. Sergio Arboleda University is located in these two planes... [-]

The course provides a consistent methodological theoretical basis of the teaching of mathematics education in the current context enabling the formation of a reflective teacher and researcher. It also enables to acquire a good knowledge of the teaching-learning theories in order to adapt them to the mathematical content. Thus, teachers who teach in primary and secondary education can reflect on new teaching methodology proposed Mathematics, ensuring consistent practice with the latest research in the area. Finally, the course aims to train a teacher-researcher able to question the programs and existing teaching sequences.

ENVIRONMENTS- ECONOMIC GEOLOGY-SOIL MANAGEMENT-GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING-GEOMATERIAL-NANOMATERIAL
IMACS is an integrated Master of Science designed by 4 institutions with a wide range of leadership in clay science :the University of Poitiers (UP) in France (co-ordinator), the University of Aveiro (UA) in Portugal, the Technical University of Crete (TUC) (Chania) in Greece, the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) (Porto Alegre) in Brazil. Why clay minerals?
Interest in clays results from their common availability, and their unique physical and chemical properties. No other minerals currently attract so great an interest.
In addition to their conventional ancient use as bricks, tiles, ceramics and for paper coating and waste management more recently, clays have found many novel applications. Clay minerals have provided a boost in technology because they are inexpensive nanomaterials, and as such, they have a huge potential for the synthesis of polymer nanocomposites with superior mechanical and thermal properties. The optimisation of adsorption, colloidal and rheological properties also opens prospects of using clay minerals for medical uses, pollution control, and environmental protection. Clay minerals play a role in economic geology (both as an important mineral resource and in energy resource exploration) and soil management. Clays also have many negative effects in geotechnical engineering, manifested in the form of landslides, mudflows, and the deterioration of clay-based construction materials.... [-]
