The Master‘s Study Branch of Nanotechnology is the second level of nanotechnology study following upon Bachelor’s study. The study program contains more advanced methods of the structural and properties’ study of nanomaterials, theoretical and experimental approaches. During the first year of study, students may choose one of two orientations - physical or chemical. Both orientations have common fundamental theoretical and experimental subjects including modeling and computer design of nanomaterials.

Key Learning Outcomes KNOWLEDGE

The aim of the master‘s study of Nanotechnology is to provide advanced education of characterization and properties of nanomaterials. Students extend their knowledge of mathematics, physics, and chemistry in specialized subjects as electron microscopy, magnetic and optic properties of nanomaterials. The program includes the study of the relationship between properties of nanomaterials and their structures and utility as well. Graduates will have gained detailed knowledge about modern methods of structure study (for example electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy etc.).... [-]
