At the present stage, already in the 21st century, for 13 years, the staff of the department defended three doctoral and one master's theses, published 5 textbooks and 8 monographs, about 50 teaching aids, published more than 250 scientific articles, received 28 RF patents. Two All-Russian conferences "Chemistry in a non-chemical university" were held.
