A masters refers to the completion of a graduate study program that prepares students to further their knowledge of a specific subject or advance their careers. The majority of masters are granted by state or public universities.
Students wishing to explore molecular biosciences in an academic setting often experience an advanced study of topics such as structures within infectious diseases or cellular biology. Knowledge of these topics might be useful in a further academic or research capacity.
