The specialized graduate diploma (DESS) in wildlife management is in biology that allows to specialize in the management of wildlife resources in order to measure the impact of interventions on the natural environment and to prepare plans management and planning taking into account the social and economic priorities. It allows a directed work in key areas such as genetics in animal populations, adaptive biology, forest ecology, dynamics of wildlife populations and evolutionary biology. Program Structure The specialized graduate diploma (DESS) in Wildlife Management includes seven lectures and two research activities interlinked: the course Research Methodology (3 credits in the fall) where one learns to good literature review, introduction and methods, and in the winter directed the course work (6 credits) is to perform the analysis, write the results and discussion. Each student is given a project and a supervisor for this report in essay form. Each research project is unique and requires less investment than control, but greater than a final bachelor thesis as at several universities.
