In the early days of its inception, the Embassy of France and the department of its knowledge and co-operation paid special attention highly to this specialty and was equipped with specialty books, art books, technical facilities, audio-video cassettes, TV, video-tape and computers. The specialty of the French language operates about 19 years at the faculty of International Relations and Foreign Languages.Currently, 55 students study the French language in the I-IV courses. 9 teachers and a laboratory assistant work in the chair. 5 French teacher (two of them Ph.D on philology, a assistant-professor, two senior teachers, a doctor), 4 German teacher (3 senior teachers, a doctor).
