The new international criteria of evaluation of study programmes, as well as the new requirements of the job market determined the implementation of innovative, more dynamic and pragmatic, educational strategies. The Department of Modern Languages also aims at achieving academic excellence and an enhanced international visibility. All faculty members are actively involved in teaching undergraduate and graduate students for a foundation understanding of a broad range of disciplines followed by the opportunity for in-depth study in a chosen area. Graduates will have advanced skills in the following combination of languages: English, French, German (as both major and minor languages programmes) and Spanish (advanced), Russian (only as minor languages programmes.
