Fordham’s Master of Science in Global Finance (MSGF) is an intensive, one-year program in state-of-the-art financial theory and practice. The MSGF enhances students’ knowledge of international finance and helps them to understand the complex financial, governmental, and ethical issues faced by multinational corporations. It draws upon the extraordinary strengths of Fordham’s renowned finance faculty. The curriculum covers: Theory and application of models of financial economies Exploration of a wide range of investment types Global portfolio strategies Optimization of risk and return Entrepreneurial settings, high-growth industries, and emerging economies One-Year Program Students do not need an extensive business background to apply to this program. It can be completed in one year of study, beginning in the fall. Fordham’s MSGF is offered in two formats: The residential format is based entirely at Fordham’s Lincoln Center campus in New York City. The collaborative format involves an international partnership between Fordham and select other universities around the world. Students complete part of the MSGF coursework at their home university, taught by Fordham faculty and their own faculty.
