El Máster Universitario en Internacionalización de Empresas y Comercio Exterior es un máster oficial, de acceso al doctorado, a la investigación y a la labor docente universitaria. Su formato permite que resulte compatible con la actividad profesional. The main aim of the Master in International Business Administration is to develop professionals able to promote the internationalisation of their enterprises, design, implement and manage the process of entering in new markets and the growing opportunities that emerging markets offer.

This Master is addressed to recent graduates from different knowledge areas (business, engineering, economics, etc.) and with less than two years of work experience.

The programme lasts one academic year full time (from September to June). It is also possible to undertake the program part-time. It is taught in two languages English and Spanish. This allows national and international students to achieve competences and skills in both languages. This program is designed to not only respond to the educational needs of undergraduate students from Loyola University in Maryland (USA) who must complete a stay in a non-American University, yet also satisfy the needs of university students that wish to complete studies in Business following the North-American method of study. In this sense, those successfully completing the program will receive a Certificate from the Universidad de Alcalá, issued in collaboration with Loyola University in Maryland. The program will be taught primarily in English, following the teaching methodology from a North-American University.

Part-time students can earn a Master degree in 2 to 3 academic years, depending on the number of courses attempted per quarter, the course selection and the course planning; earning half the typical number of courses equals twice the duration of the full-time program. The more flexible the working hours, the more courses will be available to finish faster. Students are considered part-time while attempting 6 or fewer courses per quarter. The Global Master Program allows students to have a truly global experience and study on 3 different continents, ie. Europe, Asia, and North America. Students are required to earn a minimum of 10 credits at any of our campuses in Europe, a minimum of 10 credits at our Satellite Campus in Tokyo, Japan, and can transfer a maximum of 22.5 credits from the New York Extension Program. The remaining credits can be earned at any of our campuses in Europe and Asia. Starting the Global Master program is possible only in Europe and Asia.

The Global Master option can be applied to any Master program for which the necessary courses are offered during the student's time at our campuses in Europe and Asia and at our partner school in New York.
