Specialised courses: Technology of E-Commerce Computer Graphics Expert Systems Systems Analysis and Operations Analysis Mathematical Models of Information Processing and Management Basics of Optimal Systems Theory Factor and Component Analysis Experimental Design Theory Study in English BSUIR was the 1st engineering university in the Republic of Belarus to open English-medium study programmes. In 2009, the first group of students was enrolled in the programme Telecommunication Networks. 2010 saw the first intake to an English-medium Master's degree programme Methods and Systems of Information Protection, Information Security. Today, every 3rd foreign student at BSUIR studies in English. In compliance with the national system of higher education BSUIR offers four full-time and two distance first degree programmes and four full-time Master's degree programmes with English as the course language. In addition, BSUIR offers blended programmes that combine full-time and e-learning in the English language that have been developed in cooperation with the Computer Systems Institute (CSI), the USA. Training is provided for the US residents on the basis of two BSUIR branches opened on the CSI campuses in Boston and Chicago.
