Societal Resilience is the capacity to survive, adapt and grow in the face of these stresses and shocks. In this multidisciplinary Research Master’s program, you will learn to analyze complex societal problems, but also how to collect, analyze and interpret big data, allowing you to collaborate with societal stakeholders to achieve sustainable solutions for societal issues.

Structure of the Program

In the first year, you will take introductory courses on current and future social problems and resilient responses, and on big and small data in social sciences. You will also get training in research methodology and data analysis. The second year revolves around an internship of 24 credits and a concluding thesis of 30 credits. In parallel to the courses, you will participate in a community of learners: attending workgroups on tutorials, discussions, and intervision, co-creating knowledge with fellow students and professors....
