A masters is earned after students complete an undergraduate degree program. To obtain a masters, you usually need to complete 12 to 18 college courses that often involve completing comprehensive tests and/or a thesis.
For the eclectic or noncommittal student, a general studies program can work wonders because it allows them to sample courses from several different majors. This academic smorgasbord can help illuminate areas of interest that students were not even aware they had.
With university education being upper most level in the education system of the Belgium, the government has put more emphasis to make sure that the students’ lives is made as simple as possible through the loan and grants programs. They offer sponsors for international students with poor and vulnerable backgrounds who would like to study in this country.

Our graduate programs, each with different program requirements, are based on and are fully compatible with the established European and American educational systems. The European guidelines for higher education are outlined in the Bologna agreements. Once a minimum number of credits has been earned, a request for graduation can be submitted. Graduate courses are divided into core courses and specialization courses. Electives can be chosen from any of the scheduled courses offered at the graduate level. Specialization courses are scheduled based on enrollments and may not be available at all campuses. Specialization courses scheduled are available to all students also as electives.
