Part time Master Programs in Environmental Studies

Accra is the capital of Ghana and inhabits more than 4,000,000 residents within its borders. It is a major economic hub entailing a number of hotels, banks, and industries. It has numerous universities and other higher learning institutions.

The goals of an environmental studies program include finding ways to increase energy efficiency, minimize pollution, increase environmental awareness and encourage alternative energy use. The main focus for students is to learn how to assess and solve environmental problems.

Ghana provides a great university education especially from the enhanced lecturer-student relationship. The Ghanaian system of education has in recent years attracted an international crowd of students. Ghana has 20 universities with university of Accra as the top university in the entire country.

A masters is earned after students complete an undergraduate degree program. To obtain a masters, you usually need to complete 12 to 18 college courses that often involve completing comprehensive tests and/or a thesis.
