The Masters of Engineering (ME) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a concentration in Construction Engineering Management (CEM) is available for students that have a BS in Civil Engineering or from another engineering discipline.

The degree requirements are

Total of 30 graduate credits Three Core CEM Courses (9 credits) Three Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) courses taken from our elective list (9 credits) Three Business Management Courses (9 credits) ME Project (3 credits).

The CEM track is designed for flexibility giving students the opportunity to choose courses that meet their needs and schedule. The CEM Program advisor is the Director of CEM (Erik Backus). The CEM project advisor will be selected through mutual agreement between the Director of CEM, the student, and project advisor. At the completion of the project work, the student will prepare a formal report and submit it to the project advisor. The Master of Engineering (MEng) degree offered at the University of Windsor is a coursework professional program open to students who satisfy the admission requirements. The MEng Program takes three to five semesters to complete but is structured in such a way that it may be completed in one year by a full-time student. The minimum period of full-time registration for the MEng degree is three semesters and the maximum allowable time is five semesters.
