The M03 MEng is for graduates who already hold an accredited BEng (either an OU BEng or from another institution). The M03 MEng is a 480-credit integrated masters degree that extends students' undergraduate studies to postgraduate level. [+]

The M03 MEng is a 480-credit integrated masters degree that extends students' undergraduate studies to postgraduate level. As a progression from undergraduate to postgraduate study must effectively be uninterrupted, the regulations say that it has to be completed within four years of the student's first degree. So if your BEng was obtained more than 2 years ago you may be better considering studying for our Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering followed by our MSc in Engineering, which have no such time limits.
After completing your first degree, you would complete a further 120 credits (if you are an OU BEng graduate) or 135 credits at postgraduate level (if you are a non-OU BEng graduate). If you are a non-OU BEng graduate, you will need to complete the 15-credit module T398 Towards chartership: professional development for engineers. However, if you have or are shortly expecting to gain chartered engineer status, then you may apply for an exemption from the requirement to do T398.... [-]
