In order to successfully obtain a Masters qualification, you will need to obtain a number of credits by passing individual modules. Most taught Masters will have a number of core modules which you must take and pass in order to obtain the qualification. The assessment of research Masters is almost always entirely by a single dissertation module or project.
Electronics studies focus on the design of systems and devises with circuit boards. Electric energy is a main component and the field incorporates other areas as well such as chemistry, math and physics. Students may be able to specialize in certain areas such as information electronics and digital media technology.

The Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECE) Master's Program was designed for students with backgrounds in electronics engineering and computer sciences. The experience of the past 2 decades have shown that complex systems from the small (smart cards, mobile phones) to the large (Internet, networked storage, server farms) can be only designed and developed by teams of electronics engineers and computer scientists, since they consist of hardware and software components that have to interact and cooperate with one another.
Industrial Engineering research focuses on quantitative analysis, synthesis, and management of such complex systems. The limited faculty members come from the Industrial Engineering department of the College of Engineering, the Operations and Information Systems group of the College of Administrative Sciences and Economics, and other related fields.
Microelectronics is a field related to study and microfabrication of electronic components which help to miniaturize the size of electronic circuits and systems made from semiconductors. Many components of a normal electronic design such as transistors, capacitors etc., have their microelectronic equivalent. They are employed in today's chip technologies that accommodate analog, digital and mixed-signal circuits on micro-dimensional semiconductor wafers.
It is well known that Electrical Engineers have a dominant role in the development of a country’s infrastructure. With Dubai hosting the 2020 World Expo and with the growing opportunities for engineers in the UAE and Gulf countries, BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus is now enhancing its offerings by introducing the M.E. Electrical with specialization in Power Electronics and Drives program from the academic year 2018-19.
Our Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is an advanced course designed for engineering graduates to enhance their skills in this area of high technology.
