The aim of the qualification is to develop the applied competence of the student on an advanced level in the mastering, analysis, interpretation and understanding of econometric methods. This programme will prepare students to reflect on their own economic applications by using econometric techniques either to perform empirical checks on specific economic models, or as tools for forecasting and policy evaluation. The School was established in 2008 from the then Department of Economics that was housed in the School of Humanity and Social Sciences.
