Why Alpine Ecology?
The study will provide students with a better and broader understanding of present and future challenges and threats that alpine environments are facing. Through lectures and fieldwork/laboratory exercises students will acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to initiate sustainable management and conservation strategies in alpine areas, and to do so in accordance with ethical and scientific guidelines.
