This new master program of our faculty seeks to respond to employers and students demands for an education closer to practice and a better adjustment to labor market needs. We are aware of the fact that most of our graduates find employment in the new globalized economy dominated by multinational enterprises. This is why we offer, after a first year centered on the development of the most important skills for a work in international relations, the possibility to choose in the second year from three attractive modules: International development studies, European studies, and African studies. The Faculty of Political Science, Philosophy and Communication Sciences is the youngest and most dynamic of the faculties of the West University of Timisoara, being created in 1999. Most of our students study international relations, public relations, communication, and journalism. Teaching takes place in Romanian, English, and German. The faculty has nine bachelor programs, six master programs, and two doctoral programs, in political science and in philosophy.
