The Teaching Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and Exceptional Learners (TCLDEL) program prepares educators for careers in diverse classrooms around the world. Students enrolled in the Mason Korea program will receive a Master’s in Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in TCLDEL. Teachers can select a specialization in International English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Education, or Advanced International Baccalaureate (IB) Studies.
Applications for this program are now being accepted. The program will start SUMMER 2018, but you must complete a “Fall 2018 Graduate Studies” application. Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction
The Master’s degree is intended to support the Thai Ministry of Education’s current policy, originally initiated in the Thai Education Act B.E. 2542/1999 and amendment (Second National Education Act B.E. 2545/2002), of upgrading education in Thailand and making it more student centred. More specifically, it aims to meet the needs of the ever-increasing number of bilingual, English Programme (EP) and English-medium schools that play a vital role in the Ministry’s on-going plans for educational reform.
