Both programs offer the training and development of graduates capable of contributing to the study of the environment and environmental issues and to the environmental problem solving of the future.
Graduates will be prepared for careers in government and industry, working in areas such as environmental policy, impact assessment, scientific research and education. The Master of Education (MEd) program is designed to prepare educational leaders for learning environments such as classrooms, schools and other learning organizations. The program is ideal for education, healthcare and other professionals.
The program is offered on a full-time and flexible full-time (Flex-time) basis. The Flex-time option is intended to allow working professionals to be engaged in continued employment in areas related to the fields of research. The majority of courses are offered online, however, students can also register for onsite courses (predominantly now offered at the three Nipissing University campuses in North Bay, Bracebridge and Brantford).
