The International Business and Management Programme (IBMP – Master 1) is a fourth-year level programme that enables students to acquire an in-depth knowledge of business and management in an international context through the study of the functional areas of finance, project management and marketing. Contextual subject areas such as economics, intercultural management and information technology further develop the student’s knowledge base, offering them a well-rounded understanding of management concepts across various disciplines. Teaching methods Courses are delivered through a combination of lectures and small tutorial groups where student-teacher interaction is encouraged. Most modules include group projects where students are able to acquire first-hand experience of working in a multicultural team. Presentations and reports form part of the continuous assessment evaluation process, and a final examination in each module is sat at the end of the semester.
