A Master, which takes one to two years of schooling to receive, may help students improve their professional skills and gain knowledge in their chosen field. This improvement in skills and knowledge may lead to a highly skilled career with opportunities for advancement.
In Brazil, there are three types of degree: Bachelors - takes between four to six years to complete and students can work as teachers after finishing four years of research. These three degrees loosely correspond to the three cycles of the Bologna Process - the European system of higher education.
