El Máster Universitario en Biotecnología Agroalimentaria de la Universidad Católica de Ávila persigue la formación y el entrenamiento del alumno en aspectos científicos y prácticos de este ámbito de la Biotecnología, con el objeto de acercarles el conocimiento de los mecanismos moleculares del funcionamiento de los seres vivos. El objetivo es que los estudiantes aprendan las aplicaciones técnicas de la biología para la producción de bienes y servicios, así como el escalado industrial en los procesos biotecnológicos y la gestión de recursos. - Duración: Un año - Número de créditos ECTS: 60 créditos - Tipo de enseñanza: Semipresencial - Idiomas en los que se imparte el título: Español ACCESO En el presente punto se recogen los criterios de acceso a los estudios ofertados, en estricto cumplimiento de lo establecido al respecto en el Real Decreto 1393/2007, con las modificaciones introducidas por el Real Decreto 861/2010, de 2 de julio. A tenor de lo establecido en el artículo 16 del mencionado Real Decreto, será necesario: 1) Estar en posesión de un título universitario oficial español u otro expedido por una institución de educación superior perteneciente a otro Estado integrante del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior que faculte en el mismo para el acceso a enseñanzas de Máster. 2) Asimismo, los titulados conforme a sistemas educativos ajenos al Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior sin necesidad de la homologación de sus títulos, previa comprobación por la Universidad de que aquellos acreditan un nivel de formación equivalente a los correspondientes títulos universitarios oficiales españoles y que facultan en el país expedidor del título para el acceso a enseñanzas de postgrado. El acceso por esta vía no implicará, en ningún caso, la homologación del título previo de que esté en posesión el interesado, ni su reconocimiento a otros efectos que el de cursar las enseñanzas de Máster. ADMISIÓN El artículo 17 del citado R.D. 861/2010, de 2 de julio, establece lo siguiente: 1) Los estudiantes podrán ser admitidos a un Máster conforme a los requisitos específicos y criterios de valoración de méritos que, en su caso, sean propios del título de Máster Universitario o establezca la Universidad. 2) La Universidad incluirá los procedimientos y requisitos de admisión en el plan de estudios, entre los que podrán figurar requisitos de formación previa específica en algunas disciplinas. 3) Estos sistemas y procedimientos deberán incluir, en el caso de estudiantes con necesidades educativas específicas derivadas de discapacidad, los servicios de apoyo y asesoramiento adecuados, que evaluaran la necesidad de posibles adaptaciones curriculares, itinerarios o estudios alternativos. 4) La admisión no implicara, en ningún caso, modificación alguna de los efectos académicos y, en su caso, profesionales que correspondan al título previo de que este en posesión el interesado, ni su reconocimiento a otros efectos que el de cursar enseñanzas de Máster. Este programa integra estratos del conocimiento básico y aplicado, por lo que será necesario: 1) Acreditar estar en posesión de Título Oficial español u otro expedido por una institución de educación superior del EEES vinculado a las ciencias experimentales, ciencias de la vida o ciencias de la salud. De forma orientativa, a) Perfil 1: Titulados en Biología, Farmacia, Medicina, Química o Veterinaria. Otras titulaciones a partir de las cuales podría accederse al programa son Bioquímica, Biotecnología, Ciencia y Tecnología de los Alimentos, Ingeniero Agrónomo, Ingeniería Agroalimentaria y del Medio Rural, Nutrición Humana y Dietética. b) Perfil 2: Enfermería, Fisioterapia, Psicología entre otras. 2) Podrán acceder Titulados de sistemas educativos ajenos al EEES.
