From the academic year 2014-2015 onwards, the Master of Statistics has been gradually offered as Distance Learning (DL) Program, next to and in parallel with the on-campus program.
Enrolling for the DL Program means that as a student you will take the program from a distance, i.e. from home, workplace or virtually any place with access to the internet.
The on- and off-campus program are offered in parallel, synchronized as far as practically feasible, and with maximal flexibility. It will be possible to switch between the on-campus and off-campus programs.
The content and learning outcomes within and across courses are identical.
In practice, the study load has proven to be too heavy to combine the full-time program (60 credits) with a job. Combining a part-time program of 30 credits with a (part-time) job is expected to be feasible....
