Molecular Science and Engineering at KTH

The two-year master’s programme in Molecular Science and Engineering provides the students with a broad background in chemistry as well as a deeper knowledge in some chosen areas. A wide range of topics is covered, including molecular structure, synthesis of molecules, material properties, quantum chemistry, molecular reactions, and surface chemistry, and you will also become acquainted with a number of advanced analytical techniques. In addition, you will carry out project work and teamwork, as well as practising your written and oral communication. The opportunities to do coursework or to complete the degree project abroad are good, and there are a large number of foreign universities in different countries to choose between. The programme is strongly linked to the activities at the School of Chemical Science and Engineering, and especially the Department of Chemistry.
