The Biochemistry, Molecular, and Cell Biology Master’s Degree offers highly specialized cross-disciplinary training in a vast number of fields in the Life Sciences, from biochemistry to cell biology by way of genetics and molecular biology.
Students may choose between four specialized clusters that have been developed and supported by the scientific work of our research laboratories. One of them is offered in collaboration with ULB on the campus at Gosselies.Profile of the program
The Master's Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology provides a state-of-the-art education based on a solid scientific background. What students learn here is put into practice through internships in companies and/or in research labs in Belgium or abroad. The Institute of Biology at UMONS is involved in international research projects in fields like microbiology, cell biology, and proteomics. In collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, students in the Master's program have access to several labs that are world renown in such highly advanced fields as neurobiology, magnetic imaging, molecular biology, to name a few....
