The MS degree program in Computer Science gives qualified students from various academic disciplines the opportunity for further education at the advanced level in Computer Science. In addition to meeting the minimum university requirements for graduate study, applicants must have adequate undergraduate preparation in computer science. Students entering the program without the appropriate background will be expected to take certain undergraduate courses as prerequisites.

The master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy is focused on negotiation and management skills in international organisations, the history of diplomacy, migration, regional integration, ethical issues in international relations, and the methodology of the social sciences as applied to international relations. Students explore relationships between countries in great detail, the evolving roles of states, governmental and non-governmental organisations, academic and public policy, economics, international law and cultural studies.

With an academically friendly approach towards political science (and its integral sub-field of international relations), this post-graduate programme acknowledges that the fact that the processes of studying both Europe and/or Asia-Pacific and Africa are, traditionally, featured by plenty of perceptions, misinterpretations, general methodological hurdles, and simply fakes. In our class, we will effectively tackle all of those and many other challenges, bringing the latest academic insights into Area Studies.

Where to effectively study this subject if not in Azerbaijan? By the beginning of the 20th century, the world’s half of the then discovered oil reserves were in our country! Currently, two-thirds of Azerbaijan is rich in natural gas and oil, while, by the end of 2020, the volume of oil shipped via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline (1,768 kilometers in length) managed to reach 3.5 billion barrels since 2006. This post-graduate program of ours is of a distinctly applied nature, providing also for developing unique skills in analysis and synthesis in the field.

Currently, at the faculty of Economy 4 specialties are available in the chair of Accountancy and calculation. One of these specialties is Accountancy and calculation. The specialty of Accountancy and calculation has a special place in the preparation of accounting staff in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The students were accepted to the specialty of Accountancy and calculation of Master department (for full-time) in 1999. The admission to part-time department began from 2002. The students were accepted to part-time department in 2013-2014 years.

The speciality of Architecture was established at the faculty of Fine Arts. The faculty of Engineering was established in the 2005-2006 academic year and the chair of Architecture have been included in its composition.

The specialty was opened in 2002 under the name of “Language Studies”. The requirement for Language Studies is designed to ensure that students receive basic training in all the most central areas of old and modern English linguistics.

The specialty of the French language operates about 19 years at the faculty of International Relations and Foreign Languages.Currently, 55 students study the French language in the I-IV courses. The specialty of the German language was established in 1999-2000 academic year and 15 students were accepted to the specialty in the same year.

The chair of Eastern languages and literature was established in 2003. Currently, it accepts bachelor students in the direction of two specialities Translation (Arabic-Azerbaijan languages) and translation (Persian-Azerbaijan languages).

In the 2000-2001 academic year, taking into account the needs of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the country's other regions, as well as neighboring countries "teacher of Russian language and teacher "specialty was opened at NSU.

The specialty of Law was established in 1996 at NSU. 50 students were accepted to full-time and part-time departments of Law specialty in the same year.
