Art Studies

Master-level studies involve specialized study in a field of research or an area of professional practice. Earning a master’s degree demonstrates a higher level of mastery of the subject. Earning a master’s degree can take anywhere from a year to three or four years. Before you can graduate, you usually must write and defend a thesis, a long paper that is the culmination of your specialized research.

The Arts refers to programs that focus on intellectual type topics that are not always as straightforward as science and math. Those wishing to play a creative role in contributing to the community would be interested in the arts.

Switzerland (German: Schweiz, French: Suisse, Italian: Svizzera, Romansch: Svizra. Switzerland has some of the world renown universites like ETH in Zurich, EPFL in Lausanne, IHEID in Geneva, University of Lausanne or the University of St. Gallen. Keep in mind, it's much better to speak the local language, so if you can't speak either French, German or Italian, better go for a language course first.

The Research-Based Master Program CCC provides a bilingual (English/French) and trans-disciplinary environment for future researchers from any academic background committed to art-led thinking processes. It addresses students interested in developing new vocabularies for articulating the political and social implications of a changing world. Research materials from political theory, cultural studies, postcolonial theory, politics of memory, contemporary art, architecture, design, filmmaking, journalism, and philosophy are given the same standing as critical resources from field trips, militant investigations, conceptual experimentation, decolonizing processes, queer projects, and social struggles....
