Animal Science

A masters is the first level of graduate coursework and can be obtained after you receive a bachelor’s degree. Earning a masters usually requires two years of full-time study, which amounts to 36 to 54 semester credits.

Animal science is the study of the biology of animals. Traditionally, students studied only livestock species, including cattle, sheep, poultry, horses and pigs. Today, students may study a much broader range of animals, including companion animals and exotic species.

Australia has the third largest number of foreign students in the world despite having a community of only 23 million. These are strong academic credentials, but Australian institutions are just as highly ranked as the cities that house them around the native land.
