Part time Master Programs in African Studies

Courses in African studies focus on the advancement of the continent of Africa from social, cultural, political and economic points of view. These programs can include classes on topics as varied as specific regions or countries, history, current events and the African diaspora.

Kenya is regarded as one of the countries in Africa with their top university being the University of Nairobi. Last year, the Kenyan government, upgraded 15 institutions to fully university status in a bid to increase the student’s accessibility to these universities.

A masters is earned after students complete an undergraduate degree program. To obtain a masters, you usually need to complete 12 to 18 college courses that often involve completing comprehensive tests and/or a thesis.
