To promote professional development, the program combines the study of the current accounting issues with courses in other business areas. The goal is to increase understanding of fundamental accounting principles and their application to management situations.By combining the MPAcc degree with an undergraduate business degree, students can also meet the CPA certification requirement of 150 hours of post-secondary education, which is mandated by most states.Graduates will earn the Master of Professional Accounting after completing 30 graduate credit hours.
