Students interested in finance may want to study professional accounting. Programs can vary in course offerings, but common classes are managerial and cost accounting, government accounting and auditing, income taxation, business law and information risk management.

For a couple of years Azerbaijan has improved their higher education system by improving education level in several universities to international standards.
