This degree programme offers the possibility to get a double/joint degree with other European Universities.

  • Double Degree with Univerza v Novi Gorici (Slovenia). At the end of their study programme, students can be awarded a double degree: Laurea Magistrale in Chimica e Tecnologie Sostenibili of Università Ca' Foscari Venezia and Okolje 2. Stopnje - Study program Environment of Univerza v Novi Gorici.

Open admission subject to assessment of minimum requirements.

Quotas reserved for non-EU students residing abroad: 8 seats, of which 3 are reserved for Chinese students living in China, under the Marco Polo Project.

Admission requirements

  • A proper individual educational background and the minimum curricular requirements.
  • A certified knowledge of English at minimum level B2 is also required.

Learning outcomes

The Master’s Degree programme provides Master’s students with an in-depth scientific training and solid understanding of advance aspects, both experimental and theoretical, of the principle areas of chemistry. The professional figure that students are shaped to is that of a high-qualified chemist able to elaborate and apply original ideas, whether in a context of research or of an applicative/industrial environment.

Occupational profiles

Master's graduates in Sustainable Chemistry and Technology may competently operate as employees or freelance professionals in all of the departments of a companies or a research institutes, as well as perform managerial tasks in chemical and manufacturing industries.


Moreover, they may register on the Italian roll of chemists (section A), once the relevant professional licensing examination has been passed.
