goalsTo develop, from philosophy and the social and human sciences, a theorization of culture in all its dimensions, capable of dialogue with the radical discovery of experience and psychoanalytic theory.
Promote knowledge of the different contributions of psychoanalytic theorizing, from Freud's work to that of contemporary developments.
Know the contexts of emergence, transmission and transformation of the different thinkers and schools that have developed the psychoanalytic corpus (Abraham, Adler, Ferenzci, Jung, Melanie Klein, Lacan, Winnicott, Green, Laplanche, Pontalis, among others).
To consider in a special way the epistemic and multidisciplinary dimensions of psychoanalytic theorizing in its debate with the developments in Medicine, Psychiatry, Biology and the human sciences.
Address specifically the practical dimensions (ethics and politics) of the joint reflection of culture and psychoanalysis. 6. To make students familiar with these specific problems so that they are trained to carry out personal and informed research.RecipientsThe University Master's Degree is aimed mainly at students of Philosophy, Psychology and human and social sciences, as well as those of Medicine and life and health sciences. It is open to other students with non-specific curricula but interested in psychoanalysis.
No previous specialized knowledge is required, but a specific interest in the problems of culture, in its aspects of socialization, in the processes of conflict and in the non-conscious phenomena that go through it.Why study this master?The University Master's Degree is aimed at training culture analysts and potentially people with a clinical and intervention vocation.
Based on the experience of previous years, the University Master's Degree enables university teaching in the areas of philosophy and psychoanalysis, in artistic studies and for the profession of analyst, completed with extra-university clinical training.Admission requirements for mastersNon-enabling university mastersBe in possession of any of the following titles:Spanish official university degree .
Title issued by an institution of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and empowering in the country of issue for access to Master's education.
Title of educational systems outside the EHEA that empowers in the country of issuance for access to Master's education, homologated or declared equivalent to the degree and academic level of Degree or Degree by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training . In case of lacking the mentioned homologation or equivalency, it will be necessary to have authorization or access permission granted by this University.
Or be carrying out studies leading to the obtaining of any of the previous degrees during the course in which the pre-registration is carried out and be in a position to prove the obtaining of the same before the date established in the corresponding call (see href = "https: //www.ucm.es/requisitos-de-admision-a-masteres ).
In addition, students from foreign educational systems, whose mother tongue is different from Spanish, must prove level B2 of the Spanish language (or higher) .
