Any person who has an official Spanish university degree, or a degree issued by a higher education institution of the EHEA that empowers the country issuing the degree to access official master's degrees.
The Master is aimed at recent graduates who want to orientate towards project management activities; professionals who want to formalize and expand their knowledge in this field acquired in practice, technicians of technology centers and ID departments of companies that intend to make improvements in the management of research projects and, in general, graduates who want to develop their activity in the environment of the Project Management. Given the transversal nature of the project management, the Master is open to university graduates in any field related to this activity.Professional outingsThis interuniversity Master, taught by the Universities of Oviedo, Rioja and P. de Navarra, provides specific training to know in depth the principles of Project Management and develop the skills and abilities necessary for the overall direction of a project, ensuring compliance of objectives.
Form professionals capable of managing the development of a project in all its phases from the idea to its delivery, acting in a coordinated manner to the different agents involved, through a program that incorporates the basic principles of international standards of IPMA and PMI .
In summary, it is intended that all students once completed their training are able to face a project of any discipline and can manage and manage in an integrated manner the temporary organization generated to achieve all its objectives, including from the election and organization of the team, the estimation, the planning, the control or the generation of documentation up to the management of purchases and contracts, including the development of new strategies, methods, techniques or tools that allow to advance this field of knowledge until it reaches a level of excellence.CurriculumThe Master is face-to-face and consists of a module of 4 compulsory subjects that cover the basic aspects of Project Management and 5 elective subjects of 4 ECTS credits, each one to choose from 9 possible ones. There is also the possibility of performing External Practices. The training is complemented by a Master's Final Project of 24 credits.
The Master is taught by professors from the University of Oviedo, the Public University of Navarra and the University of La Rioja, as well as other visiting professors. The student has to enroll in one of these three universities. For teaching purposes, the universities of Rioja and Pública de Navarra are considered a single campus. All compulsory subjects are taught in both campuses (Oviedo and Ebro). Virtual presence tools are available to provide the training of the rest, although in exceptional cases, it may be necessary to move the student to the campus where they are taught in person if there is not sufficient enrollment in their university of enrollment.
Classes are taught on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, in order to be compatible with work, since a significant part of the students are professionals in practice.
