Expand the idea of Literature through its relationship with the new technological and communication media, cinema, the arts, and generic, social and cultural diversity. Deepening the processes of production, interpretation and transmission of literary creation.
Specialization: Provide a broad vision and methodology for the analysis of diverse literatures and cultures.

Itinerary A: Edition, study and history of literary texts
Itinerary B: Theoretical and comparative studies of literature and culture
To carry out itinerary A, the student must compulsorily take the related subjects:
Study and editing of texts until the 17th century
Study and editing of texts since the 18th century
And you must also choose 15 ECTS from the electives module of that itinerary.
To carry out itinerary B, the student must compulsorily take the related subjects:
Literary and cultural transfers (3ECTS)
Contemporary Theories of Literature and Culture (3ECTS)
And you must also choose 15 ECTS from the electives module of that itinerary.
Credit transfer and recognition:
Recognition of credits: consists of the acceptance by a university of the credits that were obtained in an official education, in the same or in another university, and that are computed in other different teachings for the purposes of obtaining an official degree.
Transfer of credits: implies that in the official academic documents accrediting the successive teachings for each student, the totality of the credits obtained in official teachings taken previously, in the same or in another university, that have not led to the obtaining of an official title.SaidasThe master's degree improves and expands the preparation for the teaching of literature, for which previous degrees (undergraduate or undergraduate) and pedagogical-oriented masters already qualify. The master also shows the need to move towards a modern pedagogy of literature. It is an approach to an authentic pedagogy of the text (in a broad sense) more adjusted to the circumstances of our society. This reflective learning will enable students to interpret texts of any kind through lucid reading and to express themselves correctly.
The master facilitates the incorporation to a varied range of professional fields, as advisor in editorial boards of newspapers, magazines and literary collections, assistant (as documentary maker and / or researcher) of scriptwriting teams, assistant (as documentarian and / or researcher) the stage management of shows, cultural promoter, in the planning of exchange activities, in the organization of meetings, conventions, conferences or round tables; in the design of literary routes, translator and / or adapter of literary texts, university teaching and high school, creative in companies (advertising), cultural editor, sociocultural animation, promotion of culture in different institutions, public or private, international cooperation in the field of culture and education, interpreter, language reader, work in diplomacy positions, in transport and communication infrastructures, in cataloging, archives and museums. Last but not least, a master's degree of these characteristics provides a cultural knowledge and a capacity for analysis, reflection, interpretation and for intervention and interaction that are valuable for many fields of professional activity as cross-cutting skills.
